About Amy Sedeño

Amy’s extensive client experience includes Marriott International Inc., where she supported nine brands and more than 79 properties in Mexico and Latin America. She also led the 2015 award-winning public relations campaign for INGUAT, Guatemala’s Tourism Ministry and spearheaded awareness programs for ProChile in the U.S. highlighting the country’s top exports.

A social media guru at heart, Amy managed the Portuguese Facebook and Instagram launch of Visite Dominican Republic, the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic (MTUR)’s official channels.

She’s also represented resorts and destinations throughout the region including working with the Acapulco Destination Marketing Office, the Los Cabos Tourism Board, the Quintana Roo Tourism Board (Cancun, Riviera Maya and 9 other destinations in the State) and the La Paz, Baja California Sur Hotel Association in Mexico. Currently, she’s overseeing the launch of COPA Airlines in Barbados, country in which she handles LATAM Public Relations. Some of the hotels she has represented include: Caribe Hilton (Puerto Rico), Hilton Puerto Vallarta (Mexico), Krystal Grand Hotels & Resorts (Mexico), Hotel El Ganzo (Mexico), Grand Lucayan (Bahamas), Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara (Mexico and Jamaica), Cala Luna (Costa Rica) and more.

A journalist by trade, in her spare time, she contributes to luxury publications Caribbean Living, Swanky Retreats and Luxury Hospitality Magazine.

 

About Lena Sotnick

Lena Sotnick joined Delano South Beach as the Director of Marketing in 2017 overseeing all areas of marketing including public relations, social & digital media, and partnerships & events for the property. Lena also played an integral role on the opening marketing team for SLS Baha Mar, another sbe property.

Sotnick brings nearly a decade of experience in the marketing industry. Prior to joining Delano South Beach, she served as the Creative Marketing Director for Nobu Hotel and Eden Roc Miami Beach where she was responsible for many successes including the development of the Full Moon Wellness Program at Nobu Eden Roc, which was later selected as a winner for Shape Magazine’s annual Healthy Travel Awards for “Best Fitness/Wellness Program.”

Sotnick also served as Creative Director for Steven Kamali Hospitality. During her time there, she helped open the Miami office as well as assisting with the opening of the Capri in Southampton, where she secured many successful partnerships. Most notably, Sotnick lead the rebranding of Steven Kamali Hospitality and its three affiliate companies, Hospitality House, the Chef Agency and SKH Realty.

About Kara Rosner

Kara Rosner is a founding partner and Vice President of Diamond Public Relations, directing strategy across the agency’s roster of clients, which focuses exclusively on travel & tourism. The ideal combination of PR professional and media insider, Rosner constantly has her finger on the pulse of the state of the industry, applying the latest trends to effectively guide agency teams in the execution of creative and impactful PR campaigns that resonate with clients and the media alike. She has spoken about social media influencers and working with bloggers at industry conferences such as TBEX and is a featured panelist at the upcoming TravelCon in Austin. A South Florida native, Rosner is a graduate of the University of Florida and resides in Hollywood, FL with her husband and two children.
