Meet The Chapter Officers
Chapter Officer:
Xi Marquez
Xi loves Mondays. No, really. She curates your weekdays, blogging about ways to find joy during and after your 9-5. She loves to explore new cities, find unique events, food, and people wherever she goes, and build daily health and wellness into her Mondays-Fridays with fitness and heathy eating. Xi is a life-long educator who after years as a teacher, has gone on to manage global programming for DC Public School District as a Global Studies Manager and now oversees K-12 content and curriculum for the The Nature Conservancy. Xi loves her career in education and believes deeply in access to opportunities for ALL. She brings this spirit into her work as chapter officer, aiming to find and support small local sponsors, put on as many free events as possible, and connect local bloggers to unique opportunities to expand their brands and networks.
