The February Minneapolis Blogger Meet-Up was all about Galentine’s! With festive balloons by Corner Balloon Shoppe, sprinkles by Glam Doll Donuts, and a beautiful space at ModernWell – the Minneapolis Bloggers were set for a lovely morning full of friendship and fun all captured on camera by Flow Event Group.
We kicked off the day with a welcome message from the owner of ModernWell, Julie Burton. She spoke to the group about her path, the background behind the space and ModernWell’s mission. The bloggers then received a personalized tour of the sunlit space, from private offices to the holistic health and yoga center.
As the winter winds blew, the workshop was based on indoor photography. As Minnesotans, we are forced to get creative during the weary winter months. We were joined by local photographer Mailee Yang (Her Golden Hour) who spoke to the more technical aspects of lighting, adjustments, and ideal shooting hours. And Minneapolis Bloggers Claudia Camago Torres and Bri DePaw gave the group insider tips and tricks of the blogging trade.
After the presentation, the ladies were encouraged to enjoy the spread, network, and have the opportunity to have their headshots taken. They were also able to learn more about Vanessa Style Shop – a local entrepreneur bringing beautiful handmade wares to the Twin Cities.
