The South Florida Bloggers Awards 2017 Recap

This year the South Florida Bloggers Awards were presented by Capital One and they were a whirlwind of glamour, fun, and emotion! We honored the top bloggers in the community by awarding them Best Blogger of 2017 in twelve categories: Fashion, Food, Lifestyle, Parenting, DIY, Finance, Health, Inspirational, Local, Beauty, Travel, and Photography.

Upon arrival attendees registered and received South Florida Bloggers Awards goodie bags designed by Vintage Unicorn. The bags were stuffed with gifts from our sponsors including mud masks and bar soaps from Shea Moisture, children’s vitamins from Renzo’s Vitamins, Shake Shack’s adorable burger & fries plushies, Capital One Cafe opening brochures and coffee coupons, sunglasses, and more!

Lights Camera Shoot takes the most gorgeous photos at their photobooth. The attendees documented their awards attendance with their professional photos.

Then, it was finally time to open the envelopes and announce the winners of the year. The awards were handmade by Vintage Unicorn and Dapper Animals. Each trophy is a unique work of art.

The intricate string art backdrop was a collaboration between Vintage Unicorn design studio, Dapper Animals diy creatives, and Scotty Wonders custom woodworking studio.

You could feel the excitement as the attendees took their seats as Nicole Valdes kicked off the event with tons of energy. Thanks for the laughs the entire afternoon, Nicky! Nicky was also part of our panel of judges whom scored the semi-finalists’ blogs.

Honeybee Doughnuts had towers of treats for the attendees after lunch.

As one of our sponsors, Whole Foods had all kinds of goodies for the attendees. It was a cheese-lovers dream come true with all kinds of cheeses, crackers and spreads. The snacks were paired with kombrewcha. Attendees also had the chance to meet the Whole Foods marketing team during our PR Meet & Greet one-on-one sessions.

Renzo’s vitamins spread their nutritious love by sharing their vitamins in the award gift bags. They also made some new influencer connections during the PR Meet & Greet.
