Guest Speakers:
Tatiana Nicholls
Tatiana Nicholls loves gastronomy and exploring flavors. Her exploration and delicious discoveries have given her the opportunity to weave, listen to and tell stories. Originally from Colombia, she has lived in Miami for seven years. It was here that the idea of building a blog in Spanish was born.
Her blog is directed in large part to the Latin community and those who arrive without having a good guide of places to eat. There’s nothing like feeling like a local in an unknown city and that’s what she aims for, to give the best recommendations of local places in the city. She focuses on her passion for food, for good service, for discovering welcoming environments and for highlighting the quality of the ingredients. You can find Tatiana online at www.lokaleats.com or on Instagram as @lokal_eats.
Holli Ryan
Holli Ryan, RD, LD/N, is a founding member and former chapter leader of Ft. Lauderdale Bloggers chapter of The Blogger Union, which she helped launch in 2016. Holli is the founder of The South Florida Sage (TheSoFlaSage.com); a food blog which features culinary experiences, including restaurants and food events, in the Miami, Broward and Palm Beach areas. She established #TheSoFlaSage in 2014 and has organically grown her following on social media, with the primary channel of interest to her followers being Instagram @TheSoFlaSage, since it is a very visual platform and Holli specializes in taking delicious food photos.
The South Florida Sage blog has been featured in digital and print publications such as Fort Lauderdale based periodicals including Go Riverwalk Magazine and Venice Magazine. While she blogs on The SoFla Sage mostly “for fun,” she has worked with brands like Moon Cheese for sponsored, paid content combining her knowledge of food and nutrition. Holli also blogs about health and nutrition on her personal blog, MyWellnessRD.com, and her employer’s blog, Blog.LifeExtension.com. Holli works full-time in the digital marketing field as a social media content specialist at Life Extension, a dietary supplement company based out of Fort Lauderdale, where she creates and curates content.
