In 2012, Dianne and Geoffrey got to know each other after a 3D screening of Titanic and quickly found they shared a mutual love of food and pugs. It was during a trip to Chicago the following year that they were inspired to combine their love of both things into what’s now known as Miami Food Pug. While they don’t own a pug – yet – they hope to get one very soon once they move to a pet-friendly apartment. Highlighting upcoming restaurants in the Magic City as well as old favorites, Dianne and Geoffrey go from place to place and indulge in each neighborhood’s most delicious dishes. Fascinated by not only the culinary side of running a restaurant but also the business aspect, they interview chefs and owners to get a better understanding of what drives them to open up in Miami’s fierce food scene.
