Food Memories Camp Miami

WHO: Writers and bloggers interested in writing food memoir or in strengthening the use of personal narrative in their food stories or memoirists interested in honing the sensory elements in their work.

WHAT: A two-day intensive in personal narrative viewed through the lens of food memory.

WHEN: Friday, February 26, 4 PM to Sunday, February 28, at noon

** Workshops are scheduled from 10 AM to noon and 4 PM to 7 PM allowing time for one-on-one work with instructors as well as personal writing time in the glorious Coconut Grove compound that was the winter home of Dorothy Parker’s Algonquin Table **

WHERE: 3650 Bougainvillea Rd, Miami FL, the so-called, “Algonquin Writers Corner,” Coconut Grove.


Molly O’Neill: James Beard Lifetime Award-willing author, journalist, educator and founder of cookNscribble.com and LongHouse Food Revival. Author of critically acclaimed memoir, Mostly True: Foo, Family & Baseball.

Betsy Andrews: Author, former editor, Saver Magazine and currently editor-at-large, Rodale Organic. Author of award winning trilogy memoir poetry, including The Bottom.
